Reiki, introduction

 Reiki is the Usui japanese physical system of  healing  for the soul, mind and body. Technically speaking reiki is one of the branches of the qigong  1 family used to activate, reconnect and harmonize the person to the cosmic energy through a deep  sense of relaxation.  Rei means cosmic energy, ki is the part of Rei that flaws from all living creatures where human life source stems from.  Ki is known in christians as light, in chinese as chi, the hindu call it prana , Cahunas call it mana and Vilchelm Reich 2 called it orgone energy or life force. It is rooted to budism and sinthoism but it differs a great deal because it does not require years of hard practise, it is delivered  through initiation. Ayurvedic yoga massage - Kusum Modak method

 Ayurveda is made up of two sanskrit words: Ayu which meas life and veda which means knowledge. An  holistic system of medicine that dates back to India thousand of years ago. According to the ancient ayurvedic scholar Charka  "ayu" is comprised of four basic elements: mind, body, senses and the soul. The basic consept is that  balance on these elements  prevents dis-ease. Yoga ayurvedic massage is a modern modality developed by master Kusum Modak 1   in Pune India who studied ayurvedic massage and Iyengar yoga  for years.  It therefore  combines the ancient wisdom of indian massage with yoga-based assisted  stretches and breathwork. Instructions on breathing and deep breathing allows the body to open up and prevent resistance  to the bodywork.
